Daniel was conscripted into the antiques industry when he was a toddler. His mother Margaret was a book dealer who grew up in a lumber yard, and Daniel credits her with instilling in him a “purpose-driven” creative streak. His auctioneer father David taught him to recognize value in objects which others ignored. At age 7, Daniel opened his first store in a former chicken coop, and specialized in political memorabilia. Daniel’s formal training is ceramics.

His professional career began in Alexandria in 1986, and he has developed a unique resource capacity in the furniture industry. He is the preferred provider of services to corporations, museums, embassies and Government agencies and organizations. But he most enjoys working one on one with individual clients.

Daniel resides in Alexandria, Virginia, with his wife Patricia and his sons Nicholas, John and David. He blindly obeys the whims and wishes of his grandchildren Gweneth and Margot.
